REVIEW: S.O.Tech Personal Electronics Pouch

In modern times, it's not just the "issued" radio or the good old field telephone that create connections, but above all smartphones, which every man carries with him and offer a variety of useful applications - as long as the network is working - (calling, orientation, fitness apps, ordering pizza). S.O. Tech has a nice pouch that allows you to attach iPhone, Blackberry, and similar sized devices to your gear.

It may look rather unspectacular at first glance. However, the pouch is padded and has a magnetic closure to keep your precious device protected at all times.

On the back, there is MOLLE, so you can attach the pouch to the battle belt or the chest rig of your armor. A Velcro area on the flap allows you to attach a patch.

CONCLUSION: A sturdy pouch for an electronic device that needs to be well protected in the field. Well-padded and silently opening thanks to the magnetic closure. But BEWARE: Talking loudly on the phone with your girlfriend can give away your position.
