REVIEW: Pirate Arms M116A1 Dummy Grenade

Sometimes you have to learn something. And that should be safe: in that sense, the original M116A1 is not a dummy, but a representation tool that sounds like a hand grenade, but does not have a fragmentation effect.

What connects this dummy to the original M116A1 is the label. Pirate Arms has simply interpreted the rest freely. HERE is a datasheet on the real M116A1 simulator grenade.

In the original, there is no fuze, as seen here as a non-functional dummy.

Pirate Arms - as evident by the holes - has modeled the can of a stun grenade/flashbang.

And the text ribbon of the M116A1 has been glued to this stun grenade can.

The text is pretty original, the rest not...

CONCLUSION: Nice dummy, has little in common with the original M116A1.
