The PIG Brigandine Plate Carrier is the centerpiece of a highly modular system that includes a chest rig, hydration carrier, and harness to convert magazine carriers into a Chest Rig. The Brig is recognizable at a glance: it is the only plate carrier that is completely Velcro on the front. If you want to wear many patches, this is your thing. Joking aside: PIG of course works with Velcro chest rigs and accessories. Whether so much Velcro is really necessary is up for discussion.

Let's be honest, this thing does what it's supposed to do: it puts the plates on the man.

Here you have the version with the stretch cummerbund. Altogether a very slick solution.

Inside there are spacers to allow a bit more air to reach the chest and back.

CONCLUSION: Small, practical plate carrier. Exciting because it can be expanded with many parts into a versatile system.
