REVIEW: PHANTOMLEAF Python Assaulter Ghillie G1 WASP II Z4

If you want to be quickly disguised, PHANTOMLEAF has the Python Assaulter Ghillie G1. We introduced it to you in the Winter camouflage pattern HERE. Today, we want to focus on the WASP II Z4 pattern, which unfolds its full camouflage effect especially in built-up areas.

The construction and all features are identical to the winter version, only the camouflage pattern is different. One that was specifically designed for built-up areas and makes you disappear against walls and rubble. In a dark basement and in front of a brick wall, you are almost unrecognizable with this cover. It also works very well in a lightly snowy terrain where brown tones dominate.

The PHANTOMLEAF Python Assaulter Ghillie G1 is a simple hooded cover. At the front, the cape extends over the chest, so the wearer can still easily access their magazines in the chest rig or plate carrier.

At the back, the cape is longer and extends to the back of the knees. This provides very good camouflage when lying down or crouching. We have shown the WASP II Z4 pattern here in a Photo File in all possible environments. In the image, it shows very well in its many facets.

The PHANTOMLEAF Python Assaulter Ghillie G1 is closed with a large, concealed button on the front, which holds well. There is also such a button under each arm, which when buttoned forms the sleeves.

Nature and your eye particularly abhor edges, so there are none on the PHANTOMLEAF Python Assaulter Ghillie G1. All edges are wavy, which increases the camouflage efficiency.

The hood of the PHANTOMLEAF Python Assaulter Ghillie G1 looks somewhat like Frau Holle's hood with its supposed ruffles, but the purpose justifies the means. The silhouette is definitely broken up.

The hood also fits over the helmet. On the side, you can see the two drawstrings with which the camouflaged person tightens the hood. This design is a bit fiddly and with gloves on, you may have trouble finding the right one of the two.

The PHANTOMLEAF Python Assaulter Ghillie G1 can be thrown on as quickly as it can be taken off. Its packed size is small enough to always have it in your assault pack as camouflage.

A typical courtyard house wall in a big city. Against a monotone background, the camouflage effect is not as outstanding as in a more structured scenery, but still very good. Camouflage is most effective beyond 100 meters.

When the surroundings are right, the camouflage effect of WASP II Z4 is very impressive. This pattern would also blend in well in the high mountains. Hopefully, we'll make it to the mountains soon.
