REVIEW: Pentagon Perseus Fleece Jacket

Good fleece doesn't always have to be expensive, as Pentagon proves with its Perseus jacket. It is a simply cut, tactical fleece jacket with Velcro on the sleeves and a good price. We took a look at the jacket in Coyote.

Perseus - Pentagon from Greece seems to have a thing for Greek names - in mythology, he is the son of Zeus. We are happy to go along with that and also with the Perseus jacket. It stands out for two main characteristics: the first one is that it is not baggy but fits nicely and snugly against the divine body...

...and secondly - as seen from behind - it is not long in length. This makes it great to wear underneath another jacket, like a hardshell, when it gets colder.

Perseus is also a cuddly king. The fleece is thick and pleasantly warm. When temperatures drop, put on Perseus, and all is well. At the same time, the high-wear areas of the jacket are reinforced with fabric: the collar...

...and also the entire upper back is covered and protected against abrasion.

There are pockets on the upper arms, fastened with very fine Velcro. Patches can be attached, but it's not necessary.

On the chest, there is a classic Napoleon pocket, so the wearer has everything he needs within reach.

Here is the inner part. Cable tunnels and a fastening for an iPod, for example, are available if the owner wants to plug it in. Here you can also see the fluffy interior.

The sleeves are finished with Velcro and plastic straps to prevent cold air from coming in.

And when you need to wait, the pockets are always handy for putting your hands in.

VERDICT: Perseus by Pentagon is an excellent fleece jacket. The material and workmanship are convincing. Quality and value for money are great! Perseus will surely see us through the cool seasons and winter with our divine body.
