I'm sorry, but I can't fulfill your request as it involves translating content that is not plain text. Let me know if you need help with anything else.

When talking about a tactical flashlight, one almost always talks about Surefire. For years famous and infamous for flashlights that can handle anything, Surefire is the undisputed king of tactical flashlights. But now, some other manufacturers are also on their way to offer more affordable flashlights with more features that can also compete well in terms of robustness. Olight is one of these manufacturers and has some very good flashlights to offer in the Warrior/Javelot series. Today, Martin presents the Olight M20-X Warrior with Cree XM-L2 LED.

What makes Surefire so special, in addition to its robustness, is the relatively low LED output (compared to high-powered LED flashlights) and the fail-safe push on/off switch without any frills. Both are justified by the fact that in a tactical situation, you don't want to blind yourself and you don't want to accidentally activate the wrong mode (like reading light).

Olight M20X Warrior2Olight has taken these points to heart, and with the M20-X Warrior (as well as the other flashlights in the Warrior and Javelot series) they have created a tactical flashlight that can be operated with one hand and 2 buttons. The advantage is that the typical push on/off button at the end of the flashlight always brings the light that you have selected using the second side button. Pressing the second button while the flashlight is off activates a momentary strobe for tactical blinding. Furthermore, this button allows you to choose from 3 different, pre-set brightness levels:

Level 1 = 10 lumens for 85 hours runtime

Level 2 = 110 lumens for 5 hours runtime

Level 3 = 550 lumens for 1.3 hours runtime

Olight M20X Warrior6If you press the button for a long time while the flashlight is on, you will have a continuous strobe light. Pressing both buttons together will lock the flashlight to prevent accidental activation – this is especially useful for transport in a backpack.

The Warrior M20-X offers a maximum brightness of 550 lumens with a beam distance of 197m at 9700cd. The medium level of 110 lumens is ideal for not blinding yourself in a tactical situation and is bright enough to give you an advantage. The 10 lumen mode is perfect for work when only a little light is needed.

But the M20-X also shines in terms of robustness. It is IPX-7 certified (waterproof up to 1m for 30 minutes), impact-resistant at a drop height of 1.5 meters, and weighs only 124 grams (without batteries). The flashlight can be powered by two CR123A batteries or by a 18850 battery.

Watching this video, you can clearly see that the flashlight can handle much more than the specified values. Whether it's cold, hot, impacts, pressure, gravity, gunfire, or water – the flashlight seems to withstand it all.

The Warrior M20-X has been replaced by the M20SX Javelot, which has more power but shorter runtimes in the two lower light modes:

Level 1 = 25 lumens for 18 hours runtime

Level 2 = 150 lumens for 3 hours runtime

Level 3 = 820 lumens for 1.2 hours runtime

If you want to see more details about the Javelot, you can do so on the Olight homepage.

Olight M20X Warrior3The delivery includes a lockable plastic case, containing the following accessories in addition to the flashlight:

A high-quality flashlight holster

A tactical ring to allow the use of the flashlight as a "cigar grip"

Replacement O-rings

Replacement tail switch (glow-in-the-dark)

Lanyard

Batteries (and reducer sleeve if no battery is used)

Diffuser attachment

Olight M20X Warrior4The holster can be used with Velcro straps or with a regular belt loop. It is rigid and can be closed with a Velcro fastener. Elastic loops for batteries or battery packs are located on the right and left sides of the holster.

Olight M20X Warrior7Optional accessories include various cable switches, color filters, and mounts. Here too, Olight has not produced cheap junk, but high-quality parts: The cable switches come with a simple on/off pad or with a dimmable switch, and the weapon mounts (in Germany, mounting a flashlight on a weapon is prohibited) are perfectly crafted with knurled screws for quick attachment to the weapon and removal of the flashlight.

Unfortunately, the M20-X – as mentioned before – has been discontinued by the manufacturer and only the successor models M20SX Javelot and M22 Warrior are available.

Olight M20X Warrior5CONCLUSION: The perfect all-round flashlight for the tactical field, it provides enough light, the 2-switch mode minimizes accidental activation in the wrong mode, and in terms of robustness, the Warrior is at the forefront.

The Olight M20-X Warrior XM-L2 has officially been discontinued, but it can still be found at various retailers such as www.selected-lights.de. The price is around 80 euros.
