RETURN: REVIEW: Oakley SI Assault Gloves

The Oakley SI Assault Gloves are a high-quality pair of tactical gloves with goat leather palms and knuckle protection. Despite their origins in motocross, they offer a tight fit and good overall protection. Not suitable for winter or heavy-duty work, they are ideal for warm weather use. Available for around 50 euros.

Pretty she is, the little ribbed carbon plate that protects the knuckles. Overall, the Oakley SI Assault Gloves are a magnificent pair of gloves. And yet the SI (which stands for "Standard Issue") don't come from the military, but from motocross. They have goat leather in the palm, and various plastics on the outside. Overall, they have a rather tight fit. That's what we particularly appreciate about these Oakley gloves. And the knuckle protection, which is really efficient.

VERDICT: Almost old gentlemen, the Oakley SI Assault Gloves. But by no means old news. They are very good tactical gloves for warm weather, but not winter gloves or work gloves.

If you can still find them, the gloves cost around 50 euros.
