REVIEW: Useful products from ITW Nexus

There are many small, useful things that make a Geardo's life easier. Today we want to introduce you to three of these things. From left to right these are: Grimloc, Web Dominator, and Tac Link from the company ITW Nexus.

Grimloc:

In principle, Grimloc is nothing more than a small carabiner that is threaded through MOLLE loops to attach things to. Whether it's gloves, cable ties, safety cords, or slings with an AEG attached, the imagination knows no limits. This carabiner is designed to withstand a load of 30kg and has a breaking point so that you don't get stuck in an emergency.

Web Dominator:

A very powerful name for this inconspicuous thing. The Web Dominator is designed to secure long 1" straps. This modern clamp is also great for securing hydration tubes or antennas. The end user must assemble this little helper themselves, cut the round rubber, tie it, and attach it to the plastic part. The plastic part is hooked into the MOLLE system, and the elastic band then tightens the straps.

Tac Link:

Simply a plastic carabiner. Some advantages are its low weight, only 20g, and no metallic jingling sound. This carabiner is not suitable for climbing or similar activities, but it can quickly attach things like glow sticks, restraints, etc., to gear.

These little helpers can be attached anywhere there are MOLLE loops or similar, not only on vests but also on backpacks, bags, etc. These products are available in the colors black, tan, and foliage green, and the Tac Link is also available in orange and red.

For some time now, there have been Chinese copies of these products on the market, we have not been able to test any. The copies cost the same or even more than the original!

Conclusion: Small things that simplify life and that you come to appreciate over time. ITW Nexus has three products here that can be used meaningfully and helpfully.
