Sometimes there are things that just work. The Mayflower Law Enforcement Plate Carrier is one of them. The company, a producer of absolute "No-Shit-Gear," has things in stock that you can't go wrong with. Everything is on point here because everything is functional and thoughtfully designed. The LE Plate Carrier is a downgrade from a full-fledged plate carrier, with not as much MOLLE. Because the police need to carry less gear throughout the day than the military, the operational duration and environment are quite different.
View of the back: MOLLE remains at the bottom to place pouches. Possibly additional magazines or a radio on the back. The MOLLE here also serves to attach the Swift Clips, with which you can integrate a Chest Rig.
Also plenty of Velcro in the front. You can never have enough. Plus a small admin compartment hidden behind the Velcro panel and two clips.
The Velcro on the stomach has a deeper purpose. Mayflower RC is one of the pioneers of modular armor. This means that the waistband is not only closed with Velcro coming in from the right and left. The LE Plate Carrier can simply be put on as a plate carrier to protect. But it can also be easily upgraded to full capacity with a few simple steps. Then a Placard with ammunition and equipment is added to the front—or a module from a Micro Chest Rig such as the D3CR by Haley Strategic.
For emergencies: a handle for extraction if you are injured and need to be pulled into cover.
Keep it simple: the waistband is simply flexible and encircles the upper body.
Fully equipped—here with a Mayflower Chest Rig that clips on. A great solution.
CONCLUSION: Sometimes there is simply nothing to criticize. This is good gear with practical solutions, both as a simple plate carrier, but also as the basis for a system that you configure yourself.
The Mayflower Law Enforcement Plate Carrier is available in Germany at GEARMANIACS for 219 euros.

Logo? Sure thing... But why a "V"? The secret behind it is that Mayflower RC and Velocity Systems were originally two separate companies but have since been merged. They are essentially the same thing, but you can still find gear under the name Mayflower RC.
