REVIEW: LMS Gear M.U.D. Blue Elastane Denim - Version V3.0

09/20/2023By Redaktion

After a long wait, it's finally here! The new tactical jeans Multi Utility Denim in version 3.0 from Last Man Standing Gear (LMSG). We already introduced you to the first MUD from LMS Gear here as part of our article series on tactical jeans. SPARTANAT presents to you the latest version of the blue combat trousers for everyday wear.

A jeans is a jeans. Classic cut design. Two front pockets at the front with newly designed front pockets underneath.

The generously cut back pockets hold a lot. Above them are additional slit pockets.

Inside the M.U.D. V3.0 on the left side, one centimeter below the beltline, there is an inserted inner pocket. This secret compartment can hold a credit card, cash, ID, etc.

Not buttoned up: here's the button placket with four embossed buttons in LMS Gear logo design.

A front view of the trouser pocket and front pockets in the new design.

On the right side is the classic watch pocket, which these days is probably used more for lighters and coins. The pocket features rivets with the LMS Gear logo, but without the text.

The pockets of the M.U.D. V3.0 are large and spacious. A large mobile phone fits well inside.

The additional front pockets are well adjusted below the front pockets and are hardly noticeable. A positive and useful development from the previous models. The regular front pockets are additionally reinforced at the slot with stitching.

A handgun magazine can be carried relatively discreetly in the concealed front pocket.

The stealth mode is activated. Concealed Carry is the motto.

The clip for knife, flashlight, tool, etc. is hidden here and not immediately noticeable.

The front pocket also allows for Open Carry. This has the advantage of providing more space in the actual pants pocket.

Concealed Carry is the principle of LMS Gear M.U.D V3.0. Whatever is carried, it should not be discovered quickly. Better yet, not at all.

The back pockets hold a lot. They are designed to accommodate large long gun magazines like M4 or AK. In addition, these pockets can be equipped with Tegris Pistolenmagazin Insert from LMS Gear to carry additional magazines for submachine guns or pistols.

The back pockets are generously sized and offer plenty of storage space for various equipment items.

In the back pockets, you can also store a radio, wallet, or IFAK.

As an additional feature, there is an additional mini loop under each of the seven belt loops, which can hold S-Biners and carabiners.

There are a total of seven belt loops - three on the back, two on the sides, and two on the front. The belt loops of the M.U.D. V3.0 provide enough space for standard belts to thread through.

Thanks to the straight leg cut, a lower leg holster, IFAK, or similar items can be worn without being noticeable.

Fit in the crotch: with the now integrated gusset between the tapered legs in the crotch, there is enough freedom of movement in the new M.U.D V3.0.

The integrated gusset and the use of elastane material in the M.U.D. V3.0 provide the user with a lot of freedom of movement. If the ladder is not available for climbing windows, with these pants, any obstacle can be overcome.

With full equipment, the M.U.D. V3.0 stays in place during movement.

CONCLUSION: The M.U.D. V3.0 from LMS Gear is a completely well-thought-out blue classic. Hidden triple seams using Kevlar thread with additional reinforcement provide durability and long lifespan. The newly integrated gusset dramatically increases freedom of movement. The redesigned additional front pockets allow the user to carry their equipment in stealth mode and hide it from prying eyes.

The M.U.D. V3.0 is available directly from LMS Gear or from all retailers carrying LMS Gear. The tactical blue classic costs 134.90 EUR.
