REVIEW: Lindnerhof Tactics Shooting Bag LT664

There it is, the bag from Lindnerhof Taktik. But any moment now, it will be shaped so that precise shooting becomes really fun. Shooting bags are supposed to additionally stabilize the weapon and prevent unnecessary wobbling. So let's see if the Lindnerhof bag can do that.

It can handle hand washing without any problems, but apparently not much more. This is not due to the outer material, which is Cordura, but to the filling. Although not to the filling either, as it is a synthetic material and naturally insensitive to wetness. The special thing about the filling material is its shape stability. Once squeezed, it stays that way. And it also makes LT664 a lightweight at just under 230g.

The shooting bag is 20 x 12.5 x 7.5 cm in size and offers several options for attaching it to the weapon or backpack. To be exact, there are four of them. By the way, our model here is in classic stone grey.

There is an eyelet for carabiners. We opted for a Grimlok.

The round rubber with drawstring can be quickly adjusted and wrapped around either the stock or the upper arm. An interesting carrying variant for quick change of position.

Of course, webbing with quick release buckle is also included. This represents the most robust attachment.

The shooting bag can also be easily gripped by the webbing. Otherwise, the bag does not have any special features on the outside.

There is also a loop with Triglide. A QD Sling Swivel can be attached to it, and the bag can be mounted on a free slot on the rifle so that it is not lost. If these are too many options, according to the manufacturer's tip with a wink, simply remove the ones not needed. Make it simple ...

In practical use: To use the LT664 shooting bag as a rifle or binocular stabilizer, you have three height options. Vertical with 20 cm, ...

... sideways with about 12 cm, ...

... and flat with a good 7 cm. Whether under the shoulder stock or under the handguard, the shooting bag looks good everywhere and guarantees a secure support.

CONCLUSION: If you or your weapon are tired, you should lie down on a pillow. Because only when well rested, you hit the bullseye. The shooting bag fulfills exactly that and is solidly processed and a constant companion for precision shooters or hunters.
