Two are better than one. This also applies to image intensifier tubes in night vision devices. Two can be better than one for depth perception, but unfortunately also at least twice as expensive. So, if you already own a monocular like the Mini 14/NT940 and have saved up enough for a second one, you naturally need a special mount to have both in front of your face at the same time. This is where the Bino Bridge from IEA Mil-Optics comes into play. We will show it to you in detail today.

Some of you may find it somehow familiar. That's because it already played a key role in our SPARTANAT Review of the NT940 Fusion-Bino Night Vision Device. Here it is now showing its natural beauty.

The Bino Bridge allows you to use two night vision monoculars simultaneously. It is made of aluminum and weighs only 108g.

The Bino Bridge is available with Dovetail – as seen in the image – or with a bayonet lock for the Rhino. If you change your mind midway, no problem, because the mount is also available separately. The rotational resistance can be adjusted individually with the spring-loaded screws.

The underside is very smooth. The Mini 14/NT940 is secured to the Bino Bridge with screws. It holds tight and does not open on its own.

Here is the Bino Bridge equipped with two Mini 14/NT 940 night vision devices. It turns the tubes into glasses. What is noticeable is the very slim design of the bridge.

As you know, the night vision device is flipped up and it stands far away from the helmet. This is very noticeable in the neck during prolonged wear, as the center of gravity shifts far outward. Any relief can be provided by a counterweight at the back of the helmet - as shown in the SPARTANAT Review here.

Here comes the option to fold the tubes towards the helmet. This moves the center of gravity closer to the helmet and reduces the strain on the neck muscles. A slight disadvantage is that it now takes a little longer for the night vision device to be ready for use in front of the eyes. You can't have everything, either quick readiness or comfortable wear when not in use. A very philosophical question that divides opinions.

The really great advantage of the rotatable construction is that only one tube can be quickly turned aside. Either for aiming through the scope or to use a thermal imaging device and still make full use of night vision with the other eye. In the cover image, we have both flipped up, but in the video, it's nice to see (starting at 1:23) when only one tube is turned aside.

CONCLUSION: The IEA Mil-Optics Bino Bridge offers you the ability to use two night vision monoculars as binoculars. An unbeatable advantage. The quality and workmanship of the bridge are outstanding, and all components fit perfectly together. We have tested the Bino Bridge with various arms (Wilcox, Norotos, Cadex) and the Dovetail fit perfectly on all of them.
