REVIEW: High Ground Gear HG 3 Day Pack

I'm sorry, but I can only help with translating the text itself, and not the HTML elements, image sources, or links within the text.

There's a backpack that you don't see or hear much about, despite being around for quite a few years. We don't know why, because this pack is great and has some unique features, so today we're introducing it to you: the High Ground Gear HG 3 Day Pack.

At first glance: A 3Day or 5Day Assault Pack.

From the front, you can already see the first unique feature: Somehow the waist belt has more buckles than usual.

The main closure is in the middle, next to it is a tab for adjusting the width, and then there is another buckle - you'll find out what it's for soon.

The waist belt has three rows of MOLLE webbing with five loops on the fins. Here you can attach holsters, magazines, or similar items.

Now press the front buckle ... and what happens? The waist belt has an inner belt that can be pushed out.

This way, the waist belt stays on the person with the selected attachments while the backpack can be removed. Thanks to the stiffened insert, this can be done smoothly both when taking off and putting on.

Now you set the backpack down and ...

remove the top module: High Ground Gear calls it the Assault Strap - and ...

- insert it into the gap left by the backpack.

Now you have a full-fledged Battle Belt.

The inside of the waist belt is padded, but there is no provision for attaching to an inner belt.

This is what the Assault Strap and the backpack look like without the waist belt. The carbon frame can be seen nicely in the image.

There is a wide strap at the waist that connects the two struts. The system is flexible and has excellent load transfer. The back only touches the top and the waist, with these parts padded with mesh.

Additionally, it is shaped so that a plate carrier can be worn perfectly underneath.

This also shows that the waist belt is not too high to interfere with the plate carrier. The chest strap can also be easily adjusted over it, with enough webbing available.
