A good backpack is a constant companion. "Every Day Carry," no other object truly fulfills this name and must always prove itself anew. HERA ARMS has in its own gear line for the shooter of the world also this Backpack 30 L, which we want to take a look at today.
"Backpack 30 L" is a very clear name for this piece. The backpack's capacity is indicated by this. Otherwise, HERA has made a good choice. The model resembles one of the most copied tactical backpacks, the Falcon III from Maxpeditions. And being cloned can also be a huge compliment. The shape of the Backpack 30 L is just incredibly practical. We have carried such a model ourselves for years, both as a laptop bag and on the range and in the woods.
Let's go into the details: at the top there is a solid carrying handle. The back doesn't always have to play the supporting role, which is why such a handle is important.
Zippers play a big role in this backpack, as its many compartments always need to be quickly accessible for you. And it has a lot to offer.
At the back is a large compartment that encompasses the entire size of the backpack. The only division is a mesh divider, jacket, laptop, large items - everything fits in here.
Having one large compartment is luxury, having two is even more luxurious. The difference is that the middle compartment does not open as much, but has a small admin compartment made of mesh.
The front is divided in two. At the top, there is a small compartment for items that need to be quickly accessible and cannot get lost in the depths of space.
Below that, about 2/3 up the backpack, there is another compartment with a small office space. It can also accommodate items the size of a magazine.
If you think all of this is not enough storage space for your back, you can still add on. The HERA 30er has laser-cut MOLLE. What is missing in terms of pockets can be supplemented with a MOLLE pouch.
The back in mesh with the shoulder straps, each with a convenient D-ring to attach any necessary items.
There is also an external compartment on the back, actually designed for a hydration bladder.
There is also a waist strap that can be used to secure everything around the upper body.
But, to be honest, we never used it. Firstly, because the strap is a bit high, secondly because it's not really necessary.
The shoulder straps keep everything stable and firmly in place on the upper body and provide a comfortable carrying experience with their good padding.
The advantage of the 30 L backpack is evident from the side view: it can be cinched very flat or fully packed.
The straps are long enough for full capacity. If not, they should be stored neatly, says the inner trainer.
The anarchists among us naturally let everything flutter freely. Here is the complete HERA backpack in hand.
CONCLUSION: Classic gear! And super practical. Moreover, for the price, it's really a bargain. The HERA Backpack 30 L is a practical backpack that will accompany its owner for many years.
The HERA Backpack 30 L is available directly HERE at HERA ARMS and all retailers carrying HERA products.
