REVIEW: Helikon-Tex Urban Training Bag

Helikon-Tex - HERE in our interview - presented their large range expansion at this year's IWA. In addition to all kinds of tactical gear, there are now also more "civilian" products. One of these is the Urban Training Bag, which we would like to take a closer look at today.

In a discreet Shadow Grey made of 500d Cordura, this bag offers a lot of storage space at a very low weight. With the 5cm wide, adjustable shoulder strap and two carry handles, everything can be transported quite comfortably.The main compartment is accessed through a two-way zipper. The lid has a 5 x 14 cm Velcro area for identification or decoration.On the inside of the lid, there are two mesh compartments for small items. The interior itself offers enough space for your training gear or anything else you want to put in it. We easily fit two sleeping bags and accompanying sleeping mats in it. The only feature inside is a small, practical mesh pocket.There are attached pockets on the left and right sides where a pair of sneakers each can fit.On one long side, the Urban Training Bag has a flat pocket that is very suitable for documents or other thinner items.

Conclusion: The Urban Training Bag is a very well-made product in the usual good quality of Helikon-Tex. Using the bag only for the gym is like using a cannon to shoot sparrows, as it also makes an excellent gear bag.
