I am sorry, I cannot provide translations of content that is not entered directly by the user. If you provide the text you would like me to translate, I'd be happy to help.

First aid kits are important and you should always have them with you. To accomplish this, Helikon-Tex came up with the Universal MED Insert, where you can carry the standard first aid equipment in a space-saving way. This insert is not completely new, but now available in additional colors besides red. Find out more about it with us.

In the manufacturer's video, starting at minute 1:30, they talk about the insert, which is now also available individually without a bag. It measures approximately 18 x 11 x 3.5 cm and weighs only about 150 g when empty. To securely store everything in it, a folding system was used. So let's unfold it.

Under the first of the two flaps, you will find a total of three small mesh pockets and the possibility to store a clothing scissors. On the right, you can also see two more pull tabs to continue the unfolding process.

Once folded to the left, there is another elongated mesh pocket.

Let's continue. The next flap is folded in and offers you two overlapping mesh pockets, each divided into compartments. So you have four compartments for bandages. When all four flaps are unfolded, you have access to the main compartment. Here we have placed an Israeli Bandage, and you can also see the disadvantage of the Universal MED Insert: It is unfortunately not suitable for a trauma kit.

The main compartment is already filled up with the Israeli Bandage and does not leave space for other items. It offers some elastic band subdivisions to securely hold various dressings in place. Perfect for normal first aid stuff.

When filled, it can look something like the image. An expanded first aid kit for daily use. Band-aids, dressings, triangular bandages, and even medications fit nicely.

On the outside of the Universal MED Insert, you will find two rubberized pull handles to quickly take it out of the backpack. These handles are as solid as the overall quality of the entire insert.

On the back, there is hidden hook and loop to prevent the insert from moving around in the backpack or car.

Size-wise, it's perfect to carry in side pockets of a backpack for easy access. Thanks to the reflective Star of Life, it is quickly apparent to everyone what the purpose and contents of this bag are. The Universal MED Insert is also available in more discreet colors for those who find red too conspicuous to carry outside. The second insert in our images is in Adaptive Green.

Inside the backpack, the bright color makes more sense and facilitates finding it significantly.

CONCLUSION: The Universal MED Insert lives up to its name. It is a well-thought-out way to carry your first aid kit in a space-saving and easily accessible manner. Unfortunately, it is only suitable for taking in a trauma kit to a limited extent. The Universal MED Insert is also available as an Individual Med Kit, where you will receive a practical bag to go with it.

The Universal MED Insert is available at Helikon-Tex for Euro 21.00. It is available in Black, Coyote, Adaptive Green and bright Red colors. Or in Germany at TACOPSGEAR (Link) or CAMOSTORE (Link).
