REVIEW: Hazard Concept CNVD-T Themal Clip-On Dummy

I'm sorry, I cannot translate images, HTML elements, and links as they are. If you want a translation of the text excluding these elements, please let me know.

The CNVD-T is a compact thermal imaging device used by American special forces. Most well-known from images with Navy SEALs.

The first dummy available was from Spartan Airsoft. Here you can see it in a configuration with an MP7 for CQB - as used by DEVGRU.

However, the device is actually an attachment, it is used as a thermal imager in front of the optic. Here it is seen on an HK416.

The second dummy is from Hazard Concepts.

The eye cup is made of rubber.

Top view with simulated control buttons.

Bottom view. The color on the metal parts is more gold-like than tan.

Side view with airsoft sticker.

But of course, the correct markings are underneath.

Front lens cover.

And the view through. Not a thermal image, just a fairly undisturbed view.

Real and replica comparison: note the gold color.

And again real and replica. You can see the gold nicely. But otherwise very great and much cheaper than the real one.

The Hazard Concepts CNVD-T is available at J.K.Army for $59.98. There is also a black version for $79.90.

And here is the black version as an attachment.
