REVIEW: Hanuman Slick Platecarrier

The flagship of SR Tactical is the Hanuman Plate Carrier. For people interested in mythology: Hanuman describes in Indian mythology the shape-shifting God of War, who mostly appears in the form of a monkey. But for those who find a plate carrier with MOLLE offering too many options, there is also a slick version without PALS. We took a closer look at this.

Here is the Hanuman Slick in full gear, with an admin pouch and a 3-magazine flap. Small, yet a complete system already.

The Hanuman carries minimal bulk. The cummerbund is adjustable in width, more on this later.

The Slick is closed with ROC buckles. This is quick and also serves as an emergency release.

You'll find the small ROC buckles on the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps come with padding.

You can adjust the width of the cummerbund using elastic cord in the rear area. This can be done quickly and easily.

The cummerbund panel is equipped with PALS, so the wearer can attach various accessories. By the way, the image shows a custom-made version, as the regular cummerbund panel is four columns wide, not just two.

The back is very smooth, with only a Velcro area. A true slick, indeed.

There is also a Velcro area on the front, next to which you will find webbing for QUASM buckles. With these, you can attach your front panel or Mini Chest Rig to the Hanuman.

Of course, the panel can also be quickly removed. A versatile option where you can configure the view for different deployments.
