Goon.REC from Italy created the innovative J-Arm for PVS-14, revolutionizing comfort and stability. Made of lightweight sintered nylon and aluminum, it fits perfectly on various NVG arms.
Anyone who owns a PVS-14 knows how uncomfortable it is to wear when flipped up. Goons.REC from Italy was so annoyed by this problem that he started tinkering. The result is his formidable J-Arm for the PVS-14. This is unlike any other on the market. We'll show you why.

The GREC J-Arm may look a bit bulky, but bulky also means stable. Don't be fooled by the exterior, the arm weighs just under 50g and is therefore lighter than the Wilcox J-Arm.

Sintered nylon is used as the material here. We are very positively surprised by the stability of the material. No bending or creaking, just stable and light.

The dovetail is milled from aluminum using CNC. For all the metallurgists out there: either from 6082 or 7075 aluminum, depending on availability.

We tested it on a variety of NVG arms, and it fit perfectly on all of them. No wobbling, no need to push it firmly, it always clicked into place perfectly. The swivel arms in the image from left to right: Norotos TATM, Norotos AKA2, Wilcox L4G24, and a Cadex Low Stow.

The GREC J-Arm is connected to the PVS-14 with an Allen screw. You will need a 5/32-inch Allen key or a 4mm metric Allen key for this.

The underside of the GREC J-Arm fits perfectly on the PVS-14, a real joy.

What makes the GREC J-Arm so special? The ability to rotate the PVS-14 out of the line of sight or to flip it up on the helmet. Just like what you're familiar with from binoculars, like the DTNVG or the PVS-31.

This is a real game-changer. Unfortunately, you can no longer quickly switch the PVS-14 from the left to the right eye. You can use the GREC J-Arm on both sides, but you have to unscrew it for that.

It's not particularly difficult, but it's not something that can be done quickly in the field. You can adjust the rotation resistance by tightening the screw. The tighter it is, the harder it is to rotate the PVS-14. A simple but very practical solution.
CONCLUSION: We really like the GREC J-Arm because it allows you to have a great feature of binoculars on a monocular. The "flipping to the side" is extremely practical in application and prevents neck pain. The GREC J-Arm is very solidly constructed and a very good alternative to the other mounting arms available on the market.
You can currently pre-order the GREC J-Arm for 110 Euros by sending a message to him on Instagram. Soon you will be able to buy the GREC J-Arm on his website. Currently, the GREC J-Arm is only available in black, but more colors and camouflage patterns are planned.
