REVIEW: G&P PVS7 Dummy

Light in the dark? Yes, anytime! - The PVS7 starts, which long dominated the market as the standard night vision device of the USA Army, before smaller ones (PVS14) or better ones (PVS15, PVS18, etc.) pushed forward. If you want to put together an old-school impression, you can't get around the good old PVS7. We took a look at the G&P dummy for you.

It's definitely pretty, and it doesn't have to be anything other than pretty. The dummy is completely non-functional, but it looks good.

The body is made of solid ABS, but there are also rubber parts: the front cover and the eyecups. This gives the dummy a very convincing look. A sticker set for applying sets the right labels in the right place.

When you hold the dummy in your hand, you immediately notice from the weight that something is wrong. But otherwise, it is deceptively real, only when you place your eyes on the cups here, you simply see nothing.

The battery compartment is located horizontally at the bottom and doesn't need to be filled. The dummy looks somewhat new, but with a slight aging, it becomes extremely convincing.

CONCLUSION: The G&P PV7 Dummy is now hard to come by. It was available in two versions, as a kit for self-assembly and as a pre-assembled kit.
