REVIEW: Vorwärts Patch Control Woobie Hoodie DNC

The Woobie Hoodie by Forward Patch Control is back for round two. After the trend color for night owls, there can only be one more, namely Desert Night Camo (DNC). During the Gulf War, this camouflage pattern was developed to better hide from Soviet Iraqi night vision devices. Now it is having a civilian revival. We own the night!

The cut is the same as the first version, so we took a size smaller again.

The Woobie Stick is spread all over the jacket, including up to the hood, which can be easily pulled over. The printed fabric has a slight shine to it.

If the hood is not needed, just fold it down at the back. Since the jacket's lining is also present in the hood, it remains somewhat stable in shape.

Following FPC's lead, the Woobie Hoodie feels, we believe, most comfortable when worn with a helmet. But even without a helmet, anyone can venture stylishly into the dark night and stay warm.

A quick comparison with a flag patch in DNC pattern and the DNC Woobie Hoodie. Matches well! Only the most dedicated gear enthusiasts have patches in the matching camo, exemplary.

The length is comfortable and ideal, at least for us when taking a size smaller. The Woobie Hoodie has a loose fit. A cuff at the back ensures a comfortable finish, and the length is good.

Thankfully, movement is not restricted. Nothing stands in the way of a dynamic night.

There is also a comfortable finish at the sleeve ends.

The zipper is now black and not silver like in the first version. It also feels like it slides more smoothly. The hood drawstring has also been improved. A better cord with an end piece is used here as well.

On the left chest, the Reaper logo is sewn on again. Subtle, stylish.

The hands are weapons, so anyone who wants to hide them will find a front pocket for each one. This is optimally placed and offers generous space.

Here is the inside of the Woobie Hoodie. The fabric is from a poncho liner, so the inside is exactly the same, also with a camouflage pattern.

So it's easy to walk through the night.

CONCLUSION: FORWARD PATCH CONTROL delights us with a successful second version of their Woobie Hoodie. Hard to find in Germany, it is even more pleasing that they provide this garment in Europe. Small improvements to the first version bring, in addition to another camouflage pattern, even more reasons to treat yourself to one. We think the Woobie Hoodie DNC is successful. It definitely makes day and night life more stylish.
