One doesn't have to show everything. Sometimes a jacket is enough, one that can be seen and looks so harmless. And underneath lies everything one needs. No, it's not a chastity belt, I promise. "Das Ding" is the thing we have around our hips and it comes from First Spear.
Once without a jacket: The thing wraps around the hips like the bacon belt we usually wear. But no, it's not meant to cover it, just kidding. If you want to wear the thing, you shouldn't be too thick. The thing is an equipment carrier for possibly covert operations. Why is it sensitive to your waist size? Unfilled, the two velcro surfaces align perfectly, with equipment in the rig it's not even half of the velcro that holds here. However, it holds securely. But don't worry: you can choose between four sizes from S to XL. First Spear thinks of your waist.
The thing is made of Four-Way Stretch and can hold a lot of equipment: here on the right a flashbang in front of a Glock 19. The content is secured with Shock Cord.
On the left side, three magazines for an M4 are stowed. The whole thing has a total of ten slots, each in the same size, precisely M4 magazine dimensions.
Laying the thing down completely: in the back area, we have a quick bandage and a tourniquet provided. And a banana for the worst hunger. Who wants to starve...
CONCLUSION: The thing is really called "The Thing" and shows that First Spear likes German names. This probably refers to the fact that the thing is not a plate carrier or chest rig, but in its minimal shape is simply a thing. As if to say, "Give me that thing..." Beyond that, it is a very minimalist carrier, ideal for covert operations. The equipment is close to the body and doesn't add much bulk. A cool belt to hold everything a man needs. The equipment doesn't have to consist of weapons and ammunition, it can also include a radio and survival kit.
First Spear The Thing is available at POL-TEC on sale for 62 euros. The Thing is available in Coyote Brown, Black, and Multicam.
