REVIEW: Eagle Industries Aero Assault Basic Armor Carrier
03/21/2018By SPARTANAT crew
I'm sorry, but it appears that there is no text provided for me to translate into English. If you could provide the text, I would be happy to help translate it for you.

There are plate carriers where at first glance you know: this is a clone of another one. This is one of them: the Aero Assault Basic Armor Carrier comes from Eagle Industries, one of the core brands of American armor. And at first glance, it looks like an LBT-6094 from London Bridge Trading.

But it's not. And the devil is in the details. Here's the front view.

The Aero has Velcro MOLLE at the top front. However, it doesn't always have to be filled with patches, but a Juggernaut Case fits perfectly here - with a smartphone inside and a special app to communicate with Air Force bombers. All good things come from above...

At the top is a small, articulated admin pouch. On the sides, there is also Velcro for managing a hydration tube, for example.

Extremely exciting are the pass-through options at the top, mainly designed to manage cables from radios and other electronic equipment.

Here's another tunnel. The loops in front are for attaching a PTT. The Aero is extremely popular with the CTs of AFSOC. The cable-friendly design accommodates this.

Here's another side with MOLLE vertically for PTT and loop for Chest Rig Integration. Of course, you need to plug in a clip.

At the bottom front, it closes with the flap. It typically holds three M4 magazines. But the carrier can be configured individually because it's not fixed or mounted.

View of the standard flap with a kangaroo pouch. It comes empty and can be organized with an insert (fabric or Kydex).

Here, we see the zipper mechanism on the top. It closes with the cummerbund on the sides. Almost like the LBT-6094 ... 😉

There are several cummerbunds: this one is slightly stiffened and has three compartments, the front one being larger for a radio, and two magazines behind. The CCT from Weltr carries two radios, so one on the right and left, and uses the Comtacs Dual Com.

Back to the top. There is a release buckle on the shoulder for easier removal of the carrier.

The shoulder straps are complex and adjustable. Inside, there is excellent padding, making it very comfortable to wear.
