REVIEW: Dummy Fairbairn-Sykes Commando Dagger

There are a few iconic military knives: the German trench dagger from World War I is one example. From World War II, there is the Fairbairn-Sykes dagger of the British Commandos, which has also influenced many combat knives to this day with its style.

Now, daggers are dangerous because they are sharp. Here is a rubber Fairbairn-Sykes available for playful applications and training. It replicates the first model of the Fairbairn-Sykes, recognizable by the tight, small grooves on the handle.

The model comes with a sheath, which is a bit so-so. In order for the Fairbairn-Sykes figure to hold, it is slightly stiffened inside.

CONCLUSION: A fun replica of a legend at a nice price. Ideal as a training device with history.
