Discover the practical and versatile Merino Gaitor from DNS ALPHA. Made with high-end quality materials, this tube scarf can be worn in various ways to keep you warm and protected.
Malevich? No, not the famous "Black Square on White Ground" painting from 1915. Nevertheless, still a classic: the Merino Gaitor from DNS ALPHA. When you put it on, it's a square. But it's much more practical than an old painting.

So let's take it with us. The German word for "Gaitor" in this case is "Schlauchschal" (tube scarf). That sounds a bit less modern. Unjustly, because it is one of the most practical pieces of equipment.

That's how it doesn't look so artistic anymore. The DNS ALPHA tube scarf has the dimensions of 52 by 21 centimeters. It's a bit longer than others of its kind. And it confirms what we've always suspected: size does matter.

Inside is the logo of DNS ALPHA with the product name. The fabric recipe is printed there: there's a lot of Merino wool and a little something that makes it elastic. If you're interested in the fabric itself, in the SPARTANAT review of the DNS ALPHA underwear, we explained what's behind the wool and what makes it so special.

Now over your head and into action. This way you already look dangerous like a Mexican sicario, but unfortunately you can't see through it.

The simplest use of the Gaitor is as a scarf: it fits great around your neck, it's nice and warm, and prevents cold air from coming in. Merino is thin and light at the same time. Purpose fulfilled!

But the common tube scarf is capable of more: you can pull it up and then it's no longer cold around your nose and ears. Or your face is no longer recognizable, which is useful for special forces as well as for demonstration participants. Put a cap on and your eyes would be reduced to a gap.

Speaking of caps. The DNS ALPHA Gaitor also serves as one. Pull it over your head, let the rest fall back. It's a warm head covering and you look a bit like the singer of the Slovenian band "Laibach".

Now for the super twist. Put on the tube scarf, lift it up, then grab the entire twist.

And then fold down and you're done with a wonderful, double-layered hat. Fits well, perfect warmth on the head. If you prefer to use the Gaitor as a scarf and still want to keep warm on your head, we recommend the DNS ALPHA Beanie - HERE in the SPARTANAT Review.
CONCLUSION: DNS ALPHA starts with the basics. The Merino Gaitor is one of the best equipment items in DNS ALPHA high-end quality. Must have ...
