REVIEW: Crye Precision Jumpable Plate Carrier (JPC)

I'm sorry, I am not able to translate images, links, or HTML elements. Would you like me to provide a translation of the text instead?

Small and lightweight, this can be an essential factor in a plate carrier. Crye Precision has set standards with the Jumpable Plate Carrier (JPC). We present it to you together with Steyrman and his gear - shown with Ops-Core Helmet and MP7.

The JPC is easily recognizable by the shoulder straps. They are made from Hypalon and have a distinctive shape. The second feature is the lightweight AirLite Cumberbund, which consists of a reinforced strap grid and is normally not built up. Clearly visible are the shoulders made of Hypalon. On the front side (top left) there is a Velcro area on the chest, with three magazine slots beneath the flap.

Steyrman has the "full expansion version", with two additional pockets attached to the front plate carrier (right) - the "Wings are the MBITR Pouch Set - that can hold magazines or a radio. They are pushed towards the body by the closed Cumberbund. The Cumberbund at the back (bottom left) is simply woven with Shockcord.

The AirLite Cumberbund provides lots of ventilation on the sides of the body but can also be armored. These are the plate pockets that can accommodate 6 x 6 SAPIs.

If you want to go as light as possible, you could also forgo the Cumberbund and simply use the included straps.

There is an admin compartment at the top of the JPC. It closes with Velcro.

The magazines in the belly flap are secured with Shockcord and pull tabs.

Inside, the JPC is made of Multicam Stretch. Very lightweight.

CONCLUSION: The JPC is a very compact solution for a plate carrier and practical for those who need to move a lot. However, it leaves enough options for additional equipment. It can be modernized with a drop kit or zips for the back to integrate various Crye panels.

The JPC costs directly from Crye Precison 210 dollars.
