There are still rare things. Plate carriers from the German manufacturer BSST are among them on the free market. The PM6 is a "slick," a smooth carrier that does not need MOLLE.
Thick shoulders connect the front and the back. But that alone does not make it.
In our carrier, the shoulders were made more comfortable with these super practical additional pads from TAG.

The sides are closed with large Velcro surfaces.
It overlaps nicely and provides protection because of the shape of the soft armor. But no MOLLE and no pockets.

Additionally, a Velcro strap to ensure the carrier fits perfectly. Probably demanded by the German TÜV.
Inside, it's just mesh, so everything is comfortable.

Being well armored is half of life. As the Germans like it, there are two separate compartments here, one for plate, one for soft armor.
The plate gives the male chest the security, the soft panels prevent splinters.
You can clearly see the ballistic plate inserted from the back as well.
CONCLUSION: Solid plate carrier suitable for covert operations. Also works well with a Chest Rig on top.
The BSST PM6 Slick Carrier is not very common in the open market, the black version can be found in offers from police shops.
