Without a watch, it's hard to imagine any military operation. Life in general also ticks in time with the hands. Today we want to introduce you to a simple, functional operational watch from BOMBFROG, the Carbon One.

What first catches the eye is the lightweight design of only 65 g. This makes the watch very easy and comfortable to wear despite its size.

Furthermore, the Carbon One is waterproof up to 200 m depth, equivalent to a pressure of 20 bar. Therefore, the watch should easily withstand all land operations, even if things get a little damp. It can handle amphibious missions too: diving with gear is survivable for the watch, especially since it's a BOMBFROG watch. Showering (warm) also works, and is probably the more common everyday use. The sapphire glass has not suffered any scratches even with heavy use. The bezel can be rotated to the left with a solid click and maintains its setting easily. The date display at the 3 o'clock position is very easy to read.

Here is another image of the watch, showing the black NATO strap. The strap, like the rest of the watch, is very suitable for operational use, and the Suunto Clipper Compass complements it perfectly. The fabric strap is very comfortable to wear, but should be washed at regular intervals as it tends to absorb sweat odor.

Even when darkness falls, this watch can still be read easily, thanks to Tritium.

The Carbon One comes in an elegant box with a BOMBFROG cleaning cloth and warranty letter.

Here are the technical specifications:

Material: Polycarbonate
Case: 51.5mm x 44.5mm
Back: Stainless steel, black IP
Crown: 7.5mm black IP with logo
Glass: Sapphire glass, anti-reflective
Bezel: 47.5mm, unidirectional, 60 clicks

CONCLUSION: A truly good, simple, extremely lightweight, and elegant operational watch that scores highly with its excellent price performance. By using black generously as the main color, the watch takes on a tactical and very noble character. The lightweight design, with a very appealing size, makes you forget that you're even wearing this watch. Even though it's an operational watch that is usually worn discreetly: it's a real showpiece even in civilian settings.

Available at BOMBFROG for €369.00 (excluding shipping), either with a NATO strap or Neoprene strap at the same price.
