From our Italian friends at BLACKFOLIUM, there is a new rifle sling called UTOPIA. The previous version was their MARS Sling, which you can read about HERE in our SPARTANAT Review. The UTOPIA is designed to be used with smaller, lighter firearms, but it also works with larger rifles. Let's take a closer look at it.

The UTOPIA Sling is available in several attachment options. We tested the UTOPIA - CLASH variant, which comes with CLASH-Hooks and the TRI-RING. In the image, you can see everything that is included in the package.

CONCLUSION: With the UTOPIA, BLACKFOLIUM has created a very successful and adaptable rifle sling. The relatively thin padding surprisingly works well and does not dig in, as we initially thought it might. Our only concern is the material choice for the strap, as it is made of regular nylon which may not withstand heat well. For STEYR AUG, the strap might pass over the gas pressure mechanism and get damaged. However, we do not see durability issues with M4 variants.
