REVIEW: Beyond Clothing PCU - Level 2

When it gets colder again or when you have to stay outside without much movement, the second layer comes into play. It is worn over the first layer (HERE Level 1 by Beyond) and provides cozy warmth. Here we present to you the Level 2 of the PCU version by Beyond Clothing.

Level 2 consists of a long sleeve shirt and long underwear. Polartec® PowerDry® 100 Grid Fleece is used here, a waffle fleece that holds small air pockets by design, which then warm up due to body heat.

Level 2 also transports moisture but not as well as Level 1 - so you should really only choose this layer when you are not moving much, otherwise you will overheat very quickly.
The top has a 1/4 zipper and a short collar to warm the neck as well.

Alternatively, the Level 2 shirt is also available with a small chest pocket.

The pants have an elastic waistband with a fly.
CONCLUSION:

The second layer from Beyond Clothing is also made of high-quality materials and provides perfect warmth. If you are not moving much and sitting in the cold, there is hardly anything better. Again, always check eBay for savings.
You can get Level 2 at Beyond Clothing regularly. Currently, only the pants are offered as M2, the top is not available. On request, however, this should not be a problem. The M2 pants cost $93.
