Camouflage your helmet! Because the round, smooth shape is very conspicuous in nature and quickly makes you stand out. From Bellicus in Italy, there is the WW3D helmet camouflage net, which quickly and lightweight camouflages you.
Here you can see our helmet with the net halfway on. Putting it on is simple, as you just need to lay it on and tighten a rubber drawstring. Takes less than 30 seconds.
The camouflage net material is laser cut and there are a total of six different camouflage patterns, namely Vegetato, Brown-Green, Multi-Terrain-Pattern (Multicam), Tiger Stripes, GreenZone, and Dry Foliage.
Here you can see the green-brown camouflage net and in the foreground, the net in Multicam. Thanks to the many holes, lamps and other equipment can protrude without any problems.
If the environment is less green, simply flip the net over and it becomes brown dominant. Very practical, as it fits in most environments.
The helmet nets from Bellicus can be folded very small and weigh only 26 g, so they are lightweight.
You can get the Bellicus camouflage nets at ProApto, and it is known for its ghillie suits and multispectral camouflage. What's that again? Camouflage beyond visible light, so infrared and heat radiation. One of the helmet nets in the picture is IR-Safe, the other is not. Want to guess?
Here the same helmets viewed through night vision goggles, everything still looks pretty okay.
But when the infrared emitter is activated, it quickly becomes visible which of the nets is IR-Safe. The green-brown one is. The one in Multicam only appears white and the camouflage pattern is lost. The different colors indicate which one is IR-Safe, marked with "NIR" in the title.
CONCLUSION: With the helmet nets from Bellicus, you can quickly and effectively camouflage your helmet, whether it's a FAST helmet or a classic MICH. For those who do not need IR camouflage, a few more patterns are available. The idea is that you can carry multiple helmet covers and adapt optimally to your surroundings.
The WW3D helmet covers from Bellicus are available directly from ProApto for 35€ including shipping. Available patterns include Vegetato, Brown-Green, Multi-Terrain-Pattern (Multicam), Tiger Stripes, GreenZone, and Dry Foliage.
