RAUZEUG Long Weapons Case

The RAUZEUG Rifle Case RGC1020 is a robust, stackable firearm transport case featuring six buckles, lockable eyelets, and sturdy handles. With a spacious interior and three-layer foam padding, it accommodates various configurations. Its secure stacking system enhances transport efficiency, making it a practical choice for firearm enthusiasts.

Stable case for firearms transport and also stackable without slipping? That is RAUZEUG. Today we want to take a detailed look at their Rifle Case RGC1020.

General

From the outside, it looks quite unremarkable, an elongated case, as one would expect, with just a few grooves on the lid. Next to it is the handgun trolley, HERE in the review. The outside dimensions of the case are approximately 102 x 36 x 14 cm (LxWxH).

It is closed with a total of six buckles. Four on the long side and one each at the head and foot. This keeps the RGC1020 securely closed.

Locking eyelets are of course a must for legal firearms transport in Germany and other countries. All larger padlocks fit here.

Rifle cases are usually carried. There is a sturdy carrying handle on the side.

Also on the side is a simple pressure equalization device. At its core is a screw that you can easily screw open.

At the head end, there is a second sturdy carrying handle, with which the case can also be easily pulled.

At the foot end, there are stable solid plastic wheels. They aren't exactly quiet, but they roll well even when the case is full.

Interior

Inside, the case measures 945 x 295 x 124 mm (LxWxH) and comes with a three-layer cube foam padding. This serves its purpose excellently and is the same foam you find with PELI or other manufacturers.

However, we did not use it because we constantly change weapons in various configurations. Therefore, we got the MAGPUL DAKKA Insert. The adjustment of the individual plates was completed in under 10 minutes. Now we can easily rearrange the interior as needed. A detailed REVIEW of this will follow soon.

As you can see, our AKM fits perfectly in length. There is also space for two pistols and a few magazines.

Case System

The advantage of RAUZEUG is that all their cases can be securely stacked on top of each other without slipping. This is already an excellent feature in the trunk, as all cases behave like one piece and can thus be easily secured.

This is achieved through the square grooves on the lid and the matching ribs on the bottom.

The system was not invented by RAUZEUG, but by a Chinese protective case manufacturer. RAUZEUG paid attention to the details and equipped the cases with sensible accessories and interiors, creating a real system out of it.

As shown here, we have simply placed the handgun trolley set on top of the RGC1020, and both can be pulled at once. And it was quite heavy, as we had quite a bit of ammunition with us that day. With simple tie-down straps, everything holds together perfectly.

Conclusion

We really like the Rifle Case RGC1020. A sturdy stackable case with good cube foam padding. The case accommodates a carbine with accessories perfectly. We appreciate the system concept at RAUZEUG the most, as one cannot imagine how practical this ultimately is.

Available is the Rifle Case RGC1020 directly from RAUZEUG from 129.90 Euro
