QORE Performance ICEFLASK

Such a bottle. No, not the man in the plate carrier, but the square piece that is plugged into the plate carrier here. Developed by Felix from REDBEARDTACTICAL together with QORE PERFORMANCE and available at DEFTEX. So you always have something to drink when needed. 

Well, can't it be done differently? Yes, of course. A classic water bottle works too: it’s just round and large and doesn't fit well with the gear anywhere. So, the hydration bladder in the bladder on your back is definitely better. 

The ICEFLASK by Felix follows a clever idea: it has the format of the common American radio devices. 

This, in turn, provides entirely new packaging and carrying options, as you can put the ICEFLASK into many standardized radio device pockets. 

The bottle itself has a standard stopper that corresponds to the screw cap of a Coca-Cola bottle. There is also a QD closure, and you can use the quick-fill stoppers from SOURCE to quickly refill the ICEFLASK. 

On the side, the name indicates what the thing is called. The shape not only conforms to the body but also allows the bottle to be frozen or heated, then it can cool or warm the carrier during use. And as an ice block, the ICEFLASK fits into the cooler bag. It can also be nicely stacked. 

On the other side is the manufacturer's name. The dimensions are 7.62 cm x 25.40 cm x 5.08 cm.

With the loop, you can also attach a lanyard so the bottle doesn’t get lost. 

Here is our carrying suggestion number 1: just slip it into the MBITR radio device pocket, as shown here with an LBT-6094 plate carrier. 

The cummerbund here even has an integrated radio device pocket inside, so the ICEFLASK is even closer to the body. You can also carry two, one on each side. And there are Velcro hangers to mount them horizontally on the carrier. DEFTEX has the necessary accessories for the ICEFLASK. 

Personal taste test. Tastes great, the water doesn’t have a plastic taste because high-quality plastic from QORE has been used. 

CONCLUSION: Ingenious bottle, practical for daily use. Felix did a great job.
