ARKTIS:

Put a tiger on your back

04/16/2025By Lawrence

April 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of when South Vietnam surrendered to the North Vietnamese Army, officially ending the decades long Vietnam War in 1975. To mark the occasion, ARKTIS is launching their TIGERSTRIPE camouflage collection.

TIGERSTRIPE was originally developed and adopted by the South Vietnamese Marines, as a derivative of the "lizard' pattern camouflage used by French paratroopers in the Indo-China War. Although never an official US Army camouflage pattern, it was widely used by advisors and elite US forces during the Vietnam War because of its excellent concealment performance in shadowy jungle terrain - and because it looked damn cool.

ARKTIS is bringing back this old skool cool with a reproduction of the original TIGERSTRIPE jungle pattern. Look out for some new styles in the pattern, along with all-time customer favorites when the tigers break free on the 30th of April.
