Recent claims of a destroyed Leopard 2A4 in Ukraine by Russian sources are debunked with evidence of Photoshop manipulation. Nervousness surrounds the situation, with potential for actual tank losses as German Ukrainian Leopard 2 tanks see combat near Orekhov in Zaporizhzhia.
No, there is still no destroyed Leopard2A4, as claimed by Russian sources in recent days. The image above is the latest picture, a drone shot of an alleged 2A4, with smoke rising from it.

Interestingly, the original image is of a Russian tank doing exactly what the Russians are accusing the Leopard of. Dead after being hit.

The rest is a lot of work with Photoshop, blurring, retouching parts. The image was taken from a Leopard lost by the Turks in Syria. The rest is victory through Photoshop.

But overall, there is a lot of nervousness. A few days ago, there was this Stugna anti-tank video: no Leopards here either, but square Ukrainian machinery. A regrettable mistake.

On the other hand, this is brand new and could probably be real: German Ukrainian Leopard 2 tanks were used for the first time in the offensive near Orekhov in Zaporizhzhia. Even though there are no pictures of shot-down Leopards yet, that won't remain the case forever, especially with confirmed combat missions at the frontline.
