The Fossor MK1 does not begin as a fresh blank or an anonymous alloy. Its origins lie in steel from former Bundeswehr triple-spatula knives—created for use and shaped by service.

Together with Blade Create and Fuchsbauschmiede, this concept was transformed into a new form. The result is 160 layers of wild damask made from tungsten steel, nickel steel, and material with a lived-in character. Deliberately not stainless. A steel that demands attention and ultimately develops its own signature. With a 9.5-centimeter blade length, 20.5-centimeter total length, and 166 grams, the Fossor MK1 remains compact, direct, and built for use. HERE we introduced the project to you.

How does the TACWRK Fossor MK1 Kickstarter presale work?

You can order your desired item until Sunday, June 14, 2026, and we expect to ship the item purchased during the presale starting in calendar week 36. To ensure all customers receive the same level of quality and care, the Fossor MK1 will be manufactured in two limited production batches. Processing will be done chronologically.
