The Iberian Peninsula is gearing up. After the Spaniards - HERE our article - now the Portuguese are upgrading their service weapon. Although the G3 has been around for more years compared to the G36. For the upgrade parts, the old seafarers have chosen quality from Sweden, namely SPUHR.
As you can see in the picture, the upgrade of the naval G3 includes a new stock (R-410), a Picatinny rail (R-402), and the handguard (R-401). The stock and handguard are the same as used by the Swedish Army. However, the sling swivel is different and the cheek raiser is not screwed, but can be removed by hand. This makes it easier to aim through the sights. For those in Germany who want to upgrade: SPUHR parts are available directly from POL-TEC.
