Our Slovenian friends from POLENAR TACTICAL are trying out entertaining things again. Today they are testing a 3D printed Lower Receiver for the Perun X16. Unlike the AR15 system, no buffer tube is required here, so there are hardly any forces acting on the 3D printed part. That's why it works so wonderfully.
For the USA, this means that they can really build a ghost gun, as here only the Lower Receiver (for whatever reason) counts as a relevant part of the weapon. Barrel, bolt, and everything else can be freely sold in the USA. Not in Austria and Germany! In Germany, the Upper and Lower Receiver are essential parts of the weapon and therefore may not be printed. In Austria, the Lower Receiver is not an essential part of the weapon.
