Plate carrier SIEGFRIED

SIEGFRIED is the first plate carrier from OBERLAND ARMS. With the upcoming OBERLAND ARMS CONVENTION, the details about the plate carrier can now be found on the homepage. We were already able to admire it HERE at the Austria Arms ACTION DAYS. The classic slick design also allows for concealed carry under a jacket. There is a modular placard for the front part, and for the back part, there is an optional backpack. For comfort, there are dedicated pads that can be attached using hook-and-loop fasteners. The magazine pouches contain Kydex to keep the magazines tensioned. Due to the modularity, it can be upgraded to a full on platecarrier. 

Cordura 560 was used, as well as IR signature-reduced materials. Without shoulder buckles, long weapons can be ideally brought into position. 

For those wondering about the name Siegfried, it naturally comes from the Nibelungen saga. In this saga, Siegfried remained vulnerable only at a single spot, which was covered by a lime leaf. The lime leaf is available as a patch and is meant to symbolize that even the smallest details can be crucial. Accordingly, a lot of time and knowledge has been invested in the development of the plate carrier to ensure maximum protection, minimize weaknesses, and support the carrier’s operational capability.

According to their own statement, initial pieces can already be purchased at the OBERLAND ARMS CONVENTION. The rest will follow shortly. It will then be available in the colors AT-Camo, Multicam, and Stone Gray Olive.
