There are times when you have to tighten your belt. Thank God we have the times when you need to make the belt stiffer. PITCHFORK has just released its Lightfighter Belt. This is a practical offer for every shooter to keep their gear organized around their hips.
As you can see at first glance, the Leightfighter is two parts: it has a soft Velcro inner belt (here in hand) and the stiff gear carrier (lying at the back).
This is actually a practical solution because you can always wear a belt even if the gear strap is removed. Here we have the - nice word - “girth belt” in hand.
It is put on with the soft side facing out. It is closed with an AustriAlpin buckle. You can double thread it, but you don't have to, because after closing and tightening, it will be secured with Velcro anyway.
Here the girth belt is applied. At the end, we see the PITCHFORK logo lasered. The 45mm wide inner belt is made of ultra-light Cordura 500D laminate as a base for the Velcro carrier.
Number two in the Lightfighter overall package is the outer belt.
You can clearly see the design: the outer MOLLE belt uses two layers of an extremely robust 45mm webbing that is made according to US Mil-W-27265 Type 13 Class 1A with a tensile strength of 6000lbs (2720kg). It is covered with a Cordura 500D laser-laminated MOLLE surface, which is secured all around with high-strength stitches.
This is the inside, which comes against the body and is placed on the Velcro, so that the two belts form a solid connection until you want to - snap - separate them again.
You know what you have: The outer belt closes with an original AustriAlpin Cobra buckle.
The laser was involved: name and logo on the outside of the Lightfighter Belt. Do good and talk about it.
Don’t try that with the knife at home, but we just wanted to show you the MOLLE. Here you can thread in all the pouches you want to carry. Either the entire width of the belt.
Or through the two slots in the middle section.
Or – probably the most common variant: inside – outside – inside.
Here we have applied the belt. At the front near the strap, we will attach a Velcro loop with a tourniquet.
You can also see at the laminate side how well and precisely the belt is stitched.
So that you can see at first glance what size it is, the letter is laser-engraved here. Overall, you can choose between four sizes from S to XL, as well as colors black, coyote, ranger green (here) and multicam.
CONCLUSION: The Lightfighter Belt is an extremely solid solution for shooters who want to carry a lightweight belt that is securely connected to the pants with a Velcro inner belt. This has advantages when you are optimally equipped as a shooter and have everything on the girth belt that you need: usually, this includes 2 pistol magazine pouches, 1 rifle bag, a drop sack, the IFAK, the holster, and a tourniquet. The Lightfighter, correctly configured, will provide its user with long-lasting satisfaction. Ideal for use.
The PITCHFORK The Lightfighter Belt is available directly from TACSTORE for 132.95 euros.
