PITCHFORK Soldier 95 Boonie

One must be well protected, then nothing can happen. And beyond all caps and field hats, it is still the boonie that is the most practical type of headgear for life in the field or in the open nature. PITCHFORK SYSTEMS has just released the Soldier 95 Boonie. It is a versatile classic. 

The good thing about classics is that they are classic. Here we have the Soldier 95 Boonie in wonderfully versatile Ranger Green, and what stands out about the hat shape is the narrow brim, which is often seen in British boonies. We like this because the boonie is not floppy, providing the wearer with a good field of vision. 

The fabric of this dream boonie is NyCo, a nylon-cotton blend. It is also NIR-treated. In plain English: you don't see this boonie as a clearly recognizable white spot in night vision devices, but it disappears into the night. 

It has a well-stitched MOLLE strip around it, into which camouflage material can be integrated or paracord threaded. Here, the observer can also see two ventilation grommets so that the head does not overheat and the small PITCHFORK tag, so that everyone knows where the good hat comes from.

This is the PITCHFORK band in the boonie: we are 58 and the large version fits perfectly. The small version is only for really small heads. 

If you need a size adjustment, it is flexibly built on the outside. 

At the top, there is a nice Velcro area: here an IR patch fits excellently to mark your position.
