This text discusses the new CONCAMO camouflage pattern and its integration with Heckler & Koch weapons. The pattern, designed by Matthias Bürgin, is showcased in various outdoor settings, highlighting its effectiveness in blending with natural environments. Photoshoots with the G27 and G95 weapons demonstrate the pattern's mission-ready capabilities. Additional field testing and gear compatibility are also explored.
Every camouflage pattern is only as good as its application. CONCAMO is new, presented at IWA 2018, and has been making its way since then: this time to Heckler & Koch. During a joint photoshoot with the German weapons manufacturer on their test grounds, not only the best, fresh gear was showcased in CONCAMO. There are also two special main actors: G27 and G95 (pictured above). And a few other newcomers as well...
CONCAMO has now reached the point where it is "mission-ready." Everything that a man needs is there. The two men are fully equipped. And we will reveal to you throughout the article what can be seen. On the right is the spectacular companion for this photoshoot: the new G95K for the German special forces of the Bundeswehr. The HK416A7 will be introduced to KSK and combat divers.
The big brother is the already existing G27 at the Bundeswehr, known as HK417 in Heckler & Koch's nomenclature. However, this weapon is not only available as a DMR but also as a caliber-stronger equipment for special forces.
What we also see with these wonderful new images: how CONCAMO blends into the natural environment. The camouflage pattern is at home in woodland with its many facets of habitat. The G27 is equipped here with the Elcan Specter DR for the 7.62 caliber.
Moss and leaves, playing with light. The shooter in CONCAMO almost disappears on the surface of a clearing at the Heckler & Koch test grounds.
By the edge of the forest, the men are also almost invisible - without additional camouflage. If you want to know more about the background of CONCAMO: - HERE our interview with Matthias Bürgin, who designed the camouflage pattern.
Even in freshly cut forest, the camouflage adapts to the surroundings. Even when the men are standing, they are difficult to spot at first glance. CONCAMO does what camouflage should do: blur the contours.
Even the brown forest floor has no problems with the new camouflage pattern. If you want to see more field testing with CONCAMO: Photo File: CONCAMO im Feldtest 1 to see. And here: Field Test 2.
The uniform worn by the two test subjects in the image is the new Striker Gen. 2 from UF PRO. We have already presented it on SPARTANAT. The new set directly from the manufacturer: HERE is the CONCAMO page at UF PRO.
Not everyone wants to show their face. Understandable with these guys... Advanced camouflage material comes from NONVIDE - at IWA 2019, we examined their first products in detail. The mask consists of an ultra-thin material that does not restrict the wearer's breathing. However, the camouflage effect is unmistakable...
A soldier without a backpack doesn't exist. The one on the back is the Modular Pack 30 from Tasmanian Tiger - we discovered the first piece as a Unicorn at Shot Show 2019 in Las Vegas. The backpack is available CONCAMO version is available for purchase starting June 2019 - HERE we exclusively show you a few more pictures of it.
Not after a shooting, but after a photoshoot: Men without masks. Matthias Bürgin (left) is the man behind CONCAMO. Also in action: Ripperkon, the well-known German gear blogger, climber, and photographer. Because CONCAMO blurs almost everything, you only realize at second glance that both are fully equipped: the plate carrier is laser cut from md-textil. HERE you can see detailed pictures from IWA 2019.
