PARADOX TACTICAL MOD-X Modular Chest

Everything included – and all configured by yourself. PARADOX TACTICAL provides a good foundation with the MOD-X Modular Chest Rig for everything that should happen in front of your chest. And that's a lot, because normally this is where you carry magazines, ammunition, and the most important tools for your mission.

You should recognize it by its packaging: PARADOX TACTICAL arrives solidly packed and with a logo. A bit like a children's birthday: Let's unpack and see what's inside!

This is what’s inside: on the left is the MOD-X Modular Chest Rig, then a single M4 magazine pouch and a pistol magazine pouch, a tourniquet holder, and a helmet cover that we will introduce separately. For us, PARADOX TACTICAL is a first contact – what we see, we like.

Today we are focusing on the MOD-X Modular Chest Rig. It's essentially a bag full of Chest Rig, containing the belly pouch, the shoulder straps, and a belly belt.

PARADOX uses laser cut and laminate, and the result of their work is very clean: In the middle is the magazine pocket, with laser-MOLLE areas on the right and left where you can attach additional pouches. A good foundation to meet your needs.

This is the view from the back: The Velcro area covers the Velcro you can use to attach the rig to the plate carrier. Otherwise very clean, no special observations.

When removing the Velcro cover, you can see that the clips for the harness are not permanently sewn in but can be detached if a shoulder harness is not used.

These are the side attachment points for the clips. Good material, very nicely cut, very cleanly sewn.

View from above: the belly pouch is also very flat and does not add bulk. It comes with a very practical insert made of stretch material designed for three magazines.

Now we want to briefly stray away and consider the extension: The M4 Fast Mag Pouch is meant for a single AR15 magazine. Body made of stretch material and with MOLLE strips at the front for attachment.

From the back: PARADOX TACTICAL has a very nice MOLLE system that is easy to loop through.

And here’s the back side, which will connect the pouch to the Chest Rig.

Since we were just at the back: this is the H-harness for the Chest Rig from PARADOX TACTICAL. At the top in the middle is Velcro for a patch. The side straps are long enough that even larger individuals will not be "shamed" for wearing this rig. The adjustment of the long straps is done by rolling up the excess and then reattaching it to the harness with the Velcro loop. The only criticism: this Velcro loop could be longer. There is little to say about the belly belt: "Belly belt doing belly belt things." Simply tighten it and bring it to the man, it's made for that.

The harness from the front. Attachment points for stuff you want to mount and Velcro tunnels for cables or hydration hoses. The small points are practical; you can go in with paracord and make loops.

On the left side, we have demonstratively mounted a TQ. The tourniquet is mounted on the TQ M Pouch, a flexible plate that has two loops for holding the TQ. The base plate is very modern, made from TPU 3D printed, which we like. You can see how much additional space the three-row MOLLE area provides for extensions.

This is the belly pouch loaded: these are our proven Blaumags – dummy magazines for handling and展示. The MOD-X Modular Chest Rig can be worn flat, as seen here. Or you can build wildly: Velcro and MOLLE make it possible. 

This is the sharp Pistol Fast Mag Pouch by the way. Exemplary in use. Would also take a multitool. 

Here the viewer can nicely see the narrow magazine well, which provides a firm hold for the magazine (blue, left). 

On the other side, we have expanded with the M4 Fast Mag Pouch. Could also take a small spark. 

Arriving at the very bottom: the slits let out what shouldn't be inside (sand, rain ...) and also serve as mounting points for extensions downward. 

CONCLUSION: It is PARADOX: they deliver an extremely solid chest rig that has everything a man needs, at an extremely good price. Top workmanship and ideal for the small use or also to escalate with additional bags upwards.
