With a length of 143.8 mm and a diameter of 20.7 mm, the KLARUS P2 weighs only 87 g. It withstands drops from up to 1.5 meters and is waterproof according to IPX-8 standard, allowing submersion in two meters of depth for 30 minutes. The KLARUS P2 comes with a 14100 lithium-ion battery (14GT-18UR) with a voltage of 3.7 V and a capacity of 1800 mAh, as well as a USB-to-USB Type-C charging cable. This rechargeable concept avoids exclusive reliance on disposable batteries and allows charging via a wall charger, an external battery, or a compatible USB port. 

When the battery is fully charged, the red light turns to green. The battery takes four hours to reach a full charge.

Thanks to three power sources, longer use of the KLARUS P2 is possible. Firstly, with the included 14100 lithium battery. Secondly, the flashlight is compatible with two AA alkaline batteries or two AA lithium iron batteries if no charging options are available. According to KLARUS LIGHTING, the Ultra-Power technology ensures an incredible standby time of 365 days. When using AA batteries, only the 'Low' and 'Medium' modes are available.

This tactical tail switch features a memory function that eliminates confusing modes. The tactical tail switch allows for precise one-handed control of three brightness levels: High, Medium, and Low. The last used setting is automatically restored, thanks to the mode memory function. This means you no longer have to cycle through blinding strobe lights at night.

The flashlight can be turned on with a click. By lightly pressing the thumb, you can toggle between the various modes. The last selected light mode is the starting mode of the KLARUS P2.

We always like to start in the lowest mode and want to keep this when starting the KLARUS P2. To do this, we call up the 'Low' mode, press the button briefly so that the light goes out, and release the button. The lamp is now programmed. 

With three brightness levels of 65, 350, and 1,000 lumens, the lighting of this lamp can be adjusted to the situation at hand. In the 'High' mode with an output of 1,000 lumens, the maximum runtime is 2 hours. 

In this mode, the KLARUS P2 reaches its maximum range of 270 meters.

In the 'Medium' mode with an output of 350 lumens, the maximum runtime is 3 hours. 

In this mode, the range is 170 meters.

In the Low mode with 65 lumens, the runtime is 20 hours with a range of 60 meters.

The KLARUS P2 is also suitable for outdoor use in Low mode and performs very well there.

The 2-way clip allows for the attachment of the KLARUS P2 to various items such as tactical vests, pockets, or hat brims, and its subsequent use.

The lamp is designed so that it can be stored in a pocket or on gear, with the head pointing either up or down. This allows the user to grab the lamp more quickly as needed.

The lanyard can be attached to the side slots, where it sits securely and comfortably.
