The annual special forces gathering at a mountain lake initiates tests of equipment under harsh conditions. Rebreathers, DPVs, tactical suits, and other specialized gear are on display and available for purchase through OUTER-LIMITS, the international distributor. Visit www.outer-limits.at for more information.
Every year, autumn begins with the international special forces supplier outer-limits inviting special forces to a mountain lake in the Alps for its EXPERIENCE WEEK. Probably not only because the special equipment of members of international maritime special units from almost all continents should be tested under the worst possible conditions, but also because it must simply be cold and wet when the combat swimmers jump into the water.
Here you can see the optimal conditions quite well. And also one of the newest products, the Rebreather MK1 from the company SIEL/OMG was extensively tested. We will be presenting the device, which comes in a military, anti-magnetic version and also in a civilian version, extensively in the near future.
Combat swimmers don't always have to rely on their physical condition: From SUEX come various DPV's and DPD's (Diver Propulsion Vehicles and Diver Propulsion Devices) as well as DTC (Dry Tube Containers). These devices allow approaches from up to 25km away.
And enough equipment can also be taken with them: these diving containers hold 50 or 100 liters and are moved by combat swimmers with DPVs. SUEX is the world's leading company in the development and manufacture of these special military devices. outer-limits is the Senior Consultant of SUEX and responsible for all international government business as well as for training and education.
For those who prefer to stay above water, they can rely on this classic: the folding boat Commado 545 from the company Klepper allows for fast and quiet over-water movements and can also be easily transported when disassembled.
We always knew that combat swimmers are the Beach Boys of the military. Now they can also get surfboards. The inflatable and motorized surfboard from Lampuga can be used for surface approaches and reaches speeds of up to 50km/h.
However, at the Experience Week, you also encounter many classics, such as the company Poseidon, which presented extensive diving equipment far beyond diving masks...
...and of course Dräger, who made rebreathers, diving masks, and new stages available for practical testing.
Exciting technical solutions were also seen with the X-Shut System. Their mounting arms can be used for both HAHO/HALO jumping and for divers. Or both combined, which would not be unusual for triphibians.
outer-limits also offers its own Tactical Dry Suit Collection. Everything can be customized and specially made: various breathable laminates, camouflage patterns, IR and thermal absorbing fabrics, sealing closures that are particularly tear-resistant, M.O.L.L.E. patches, etc. All these suits are exclusively manufactured for outer-limits in Europe, enabling quick individual solutions tailored to specific requirements.
If you get wet feet, you also need special shoes: Together with the company HAIX, outer-limits has introduced the SEA EAGLE to the diving market - HERE in the SPARTANAT Review. The boot is now also available in Tan.
For those coming out of the water and expecting gunfire, ballistic protection is also needed: the SAPI plates from outer-limits have it all. They are not penetrated even by .338 Lapua AP.
Even in rainy weather, the base where the annual gathering of amphibious special forces takes place looks beautiful.
OUTER-LIMITS is the international distribution partner of all the companies that have presented their products at the EXPERIENCE WEEK, and all the equipment shown and the corresponding training are therefore available through OUTER-LIMITS.
