Operation Neptune's Spear

11/07/2014By Redaktion

It is the 2nd of May 2011 in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Exactly nine years, seven months, and 21 days after the attacks of September 11, 2001. An American Navy SEAL, member of DEVGRU with the name Robert O'Neill, holds a man in the EOTech reflex sight of his Heckler & Koch 416 assault rifle. In military and intelligence circles, this man goes by the name "Crankshaft" - the codename for the Saudi-born Usama ibn Muhammad ibn Awad ibn Ladin - commonly known as Osama Bin Laden. He is the most high-value target (HVT) of the USA. Here is the article that describes the Operation Neptune's Spear from a military perspective: "For God and my Country - Geronimo!"
