Noisefighters: Panorama Night Vision made easy

05/18/2021By Redaktion

Night vision devices are great, but they also have a disadvantage: the field of view. There is a not-so-cheap night vision device that eliminates this disadvantage, but it is heavier and much more expensive than normal two-tube night vision devices. We're talking about the GPNVG, for those who haven't guessed yet. Originally intended for pilots and boat operators, it is particularly popular among Tier 1 special units operating in confined spaces. However, there is an interesting new and affordable alternative from Noisefighters, the Panobridge.

The Panobridge offers you the ability to position two PVS-14 devices wedge-shaped, rather than parallel like all other dual-tube devices, in front of your eyes. This allows the user to have a field of view of up to 75° compared to the usual 40°. Of course, this also brings some disadvantages, but the tubes can be easily realigned to be parallel. The Panobridge also only weighs 70g, making it the lightest way to get two PVS-14 devices in front of your eyes.

The Panobridge is available for USD 500 (on sale) unfortunately only for US Americans in the states. However, it should be possible for authorities in Europe to obtain the Panobridge as well.
