Ground Surveillance for Highly Mobile Forces
As a tactical infantry radar, the GefFRadar-kRw is specifically designed for highly mobile forces. With a sensor housing of just 28 liters, it can be carried in a backpack by two soldiers. The radar can be deployed in any weather—especially in rain, snow, and fog, when optical sensors such as camera drones can no longer provide usable results.
Expanded Production Capacities
To meet the demand from the armed forces, Thales laid an important foundation as early as 2025 by expanding its production capacities. In addition to expanding its plant in Ditzingen near Stuttgart, THALES stepped up its recruitment efforts early on and is continuously creating new jobs. In 2026, the company plans to hire 300 new employees to support this growth.
