The US SOCOM is set to make a decision on their new Ground Mobility Vehicle in May. The vehicle must be under 4 tons, seat 7 men, and be CH-47 Chinook transportable. General Dynamics, Navistar, and AM General are the final contenders.
Allegedly, the decision for the new Ground Mobility Vehicle of the US SOCOM is supposed to be made in May. The vehicle must weigh less than 4 tons empty, provide seating for seven men, and be transportable by a CH-47 Chinook. There are reportedly still three companies in the running: General Dynamics, Navistar (see image) and AM General.
