For just over a month now, the new AH-64E has been supporting the ground forces of the coalition in Afghanistan. In addition to more fuel-efficient turbines, different rotor blades, and a digital communication system, the sensor system was particularly revised. The Echo version comes equipped with the Modernized Day Sensor Assembly (M-DSA) from the start, which is receiving very positive feedback from the (aviation) field.
